Another short ramble from me

I don't like waiting. For anything, or anyone. I don't like waiting for a class to start or finish. I don't like waiting for my friends to show up (sorry people, hahah, but it's the truth.) I don't like waiting in a line at the bank, I don't like waiting for the lights to be on after a blackout.
I. don't. like. to.wait.

Therefore, I think the people who make others wait are cruel and ruthless, in any case. I like everything to be certain, around me. I don't like guessing "Now what?" "What should I do?" but the ONE thing I hate the most, is the one question in this world that revolves around us.
"What if?"
I don't think anyone should be confused about that question above. You don't go around walking in life thinking "What if I took that job last month--I would've been able to earn more money and buy that sports car right about now."
"What if I hadn't taken the shortcut- I wouldn't be stuck in the traffic right now."
You know what, you made a decision. You shouldn't regret yourself over it and you know what else, you can't change it. Asking What Ifs does nothing to change your life.
Asking What Ifs also turn your world upside down because suddenly, you don't know where you stand. Suddenly everything around you is uncertain. Suddenly, there's nothing you can do but wait for the situation to calm down so you can take control again.
Which is why I hate waiting.
I don't like to be controlled - by a situation. I want to be able to control it instead. I want to appear cool, calm, collected, cautious.
The truth is, I am not feeling good. I feel like there's something wrong with the environment, the people, the circles I'm involved with, though I don't know what.

the things we don't really need in this life....

..is people who post their Facebook status as if they were some kind of a megastar and we're all supposed to follow each and every minute of their lives just in case someday we turn it into a movie.
You know those Facebook status that is so unimportant, it makes me cringe, right? Well I've seen so so so many people write even more unimportant replies. For example:

Nana is.... taking a bath. (10.47 a.m)
Nana is.... finished with the bath, going to eat now. (11.10 a.m)
Nana is.... very full. Gonna go now to campus, which is located in Karawaci, because I have class from 12 til 5. (11.15 a.m.)

People's comments: "goodluck!"
Nana comments : "thanks!"
Their comment: "you're welcome!"

i. don't. friggin'.care.
Okay so the scene isn't exactly like that-it was just an example. But come on,you seriously expect others to give that much damn about your personal life? And to those who often comment on other people's status in such an unimportant state: please, get a life, I'm begging you to. Fb status is fine when you want to announce something; a tragic death, a celebration, a promotion, announcement that you're selling something; it's even okay if you wanna let your feelings out, but gosh, trust me, we don't want to know what you ate for breakfast or what your plan is for today because we don't care. At least I don't.
Well of course unless what you had for breakfast is an imported eggs with French cheese and Italian bread that are the very last pieces on earth and so rare that nobody but you could ever find it in this world, then it's okay to brag.
It is even okay when you state something you want. For example: "I want spaghetti." That's still very normal. "I miss you,", that's normal, even though nauseating.
Who could've guessed that being a Facebook member opens my eyes that there are still waayy too much people who are weirder than me in this world, tsk.

JRL = Java Rocks, Lads!!!! And MEW was Godly...

Yes, Java Musikindo rocked big time with this event.
Walaupun sedikit ngaret beberapa menit, tapi performance mereka sama sekali ga ngecewain. Beyond expectations malahan.
Salah satu lagu favorit gw, White Lips Kissed, tiba2 dibawain. And without control, my tears rolled out. Sayangnya lagu Behind The Drapes sama 8 Flew Over 1 Was Destroyed ga dibawain, bisa pipis di celana gw hahahaha. It was our first concert that ended with fireworks." Cool).

Creative Block = Nightmare

I dont know whats wrong with me. I’ve been staring at the screen for hours and it hasn’t changed much. And as the moment pass i start to doubt myself : Am I not good at this? What if I cant get it right? Am I the lamest graphic designer alive?

I guess this is what people called a creative block. Every new brief is like a nightmare to me. Its not because I hate to work, but its because i doubt my self if i can get it right.

shitty me…

Little Space Donkey @ Silent March, 28 March 2008

Well, i used to perform as a drummer back in my high school and early college days. But not at a gig this big. Kenapa gig ini gw bilang ‘big’? Its not about the venue, tapi orang-orang yang hadir di sana. So i can say that this is my first big gig.

Jujur beberapa hari sebelum tuh acara, perut gw mules mampus. Dan mules ini makin menjadi-jadi sampe akhirnya hari H. The sensation is almost unbearable… Everybody kept telling me to chill, but i just couldnt rub it off that easy.

Dan seperti biasa, pas saatnya gw maen, the feeling was all gone, and i enjoyed it, walau ada beberapa masalah teknis di awal yang cukup merusak mood anak-anak. I loved every seconds of our performance, terutama waktu Iman Fattah dari Zeke and The Popo ikutan gabung di panggung. Mimpi apa gw? wakakakaka (lebay ah!) Gw akui permainan gw malem itu lumayan berantakan, karena gw mati2an berusaha nyesuain ketukan drum gw sama loop yg disetel Congor, berhubung monitor disamping gw mati. But the hell with it, it was a glorious moment hahahaha…

Do you know what “Mondegreen” means?

A mondegreen is the mishearing or misinterpretation of a phrase, typically a standardized phrase such as a line in a poem or a lyric in a song, due to near homophony.

Jadi kesimpulannya, ‘mondegreen’ itu

salah kaprah kali yah bahasa kampungnya hehehehe.

Post pertama yang ga mining… =p
